I even looked into the files.db to see if it contains some kind of registry of the scanned VST.Īny ideas? Do I need to reinstall Live to get all this working? I would hate to do that as it's Suite and I have bunch of packs installed, too.Copyright (c) 1997-2019 by Image-Line. There's a bunch of stuff in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 9.6 but nothing about VST's. Does anybody know if there is some location where Live keeps a cache about the VST's it has scanned. I suspect that Live has some kind of VST registry and LX480 has been marked "bad" in there, and therefore won't show up even if it's scanned. I have many iLok plugins (Slate, Soundtoys) that were not originally working when I started Live for the first time, but soon as I installed iLok driver and rescanned the VST folder they started working - except the Relab LX480. This is the only plugin that is not working, everything else is. Once the dll is scanned, it won't show in the info line unless I rename the dll and rescan. But no plugin appears in the "Plug-Ins" folder in Live. The thing is that I can see the LX480Complete.dll appear in the bottom of the screen in the info panel. * Verified that the plugin is 64-bit (everything I have is 64-bit) * Toggle custom VST directory on and off, in order to force complete rescan I've had problems in the past with plugins not being detected, and here are some things I've already tried which have been working but do not work now:

That very plugin has been working just fine, but I recently migrated to a new laptop, and now I cannot see the plugin in Live 9 even if I install the plugin again. I have a problem that one particular VST plugin (Relab LX480) does not show up in Live anymore. I'm running on Ableton Live 9.6 (64bit) and Windows 10.
